Sandrine Claire Holt, born Sandrine Vanessa Ho on 19 November 1972, is a Canadian model and actress from Canada.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Holt was born Sandrine Ho in Croydon. Her middle name was later changed into Claire. Her father, Man Shun ("Horace") Ho, is Chinese. Ho studied at the University of London, receiving a (B.Sc Physics and applied Mathematics; M.Sc Computer Science). Christiane (nee Nicolette), her mother, is French. Her family relocated from France to Toronto, Canada, when she was five years old. Holt was a student at St. Joseph's Morrow Park Catholic secondary school located in Willowdale. She worked as model on runways in Paris before becoming an actress. Adrianne Ho her younger sister is a model and designer.

 Melanie Jayne Lynskey, born 16 May 1977 is a New Zealand actress. She is well-known for her portrayals of women with complex personalities and her proficiency in American dialects. She is most often seen in independent films.   German former figure skater Katarina Witt was born on 3/12/1965. Twice a Olympic winner, Witt is regarded as one of the best female singles figure skaters all time. Her Laureus profile says "she is most remembered for her overall athleticism as well as her charismatic charm and her glamorous image on the ice."    Witt has won her first Olympic gold medal for East Germany at 1984 Sarajevo Olympics. Another gold medal was taken home at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. She is among only two women to have won a singles Olympic women's title. The other being Sonja Henie of Norway. Witt is a four-time World Champion (1984, 1985 1987, 1988, 1984) and twice she was a World silver medallist (1982 and 1986).
